Thomas Zimmermann, Vice President Terra Consulting Group
Tom Zimmermann, Vice President, Terra Consulting Group, has more than 25 years of wireless A&E and site acquisition experience. Joining Terra in 1995, he has coordinated over 5,000 telecommunications projects, including small cell, macro cell and DAS/inbuild installations. Throughout his career, Tom has worked with municipalities and park districts to address transportation, storm water management and site development concerns. Most recently, he has been involved in fiber hub infrastructure design, third-party reviews for municipalities and fiber relocation projects in public right of way.
Before Terra, Tom served as an Environment Engineer at Dames & Moore.
Tom is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, is active with various state wireless associations and serves as President of the Illinois State Wireless Association. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Tom received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and earned his Masters of Engineering from the University of Illinois.
